Gun Control 9 gr B

Last time we had debates. The topic dealt with (was about) guns in school. Here are a few points and observations :

It's the school responsability for us to feel safe.

students could take the gun and use it against other students.

 Not the responsability of the school, it is the respnsability of the police.

would you agree if your teachers had a gun ?

What if the teacher was a terrorist ?

How exactly do you want the school to protect children ?

If schools protect students, why should the teacher have a gun ?

The 2nd amendment protects this right

Just because you want to take away gun doesn't mean it will decrease crime

less guns is less crime

We should ban guns everywhere, they're too dangerous.

Gun Control 1 gr A

 Today we studied a passage from a 1992 movie entitled (=called) Falling Down .  We stopped the video several times ( plusieurs fois ) and wondered : What's going to happen next ? A man wants breakfast in a fast food restaurant, but it's too late. He doesn't ask the manager why there is no breakfast on the menu, but he just asks the manager if it's possible to have a breakfast. He didn't say it, but we feel that he thinks, "I didn't eat/haven't eaten this morning, I'm hungry." He also checks his watch, the time limit is just a few minutes off. The manager starts being angry and disrespectful, and we believed the customer would make a scene. After a while, the customer takes out a bag. What is in the bag ? (money / guns to menace/threaten the manager / a costume ?) The customer uses a gun to have the menu, and he's mad because the burger is "miserable," and it's not the same as in the ad picture.     Vocab Homework a school s...
